Ivy Grove and Mark Kesson Music – June 3, 2023

Ivy Grove is an acoustic trio featuring John McCoy (vocals/guitar/ukulele), Kathy Kitzmann (vocals/guitar) and Don Gulish (drums/percussion).  They previously performed together as Chrome Folk Bar-B-Q, and then reformed as a trio in 2015.  They play songs they like (and they know the audience will like) from various genres and songwriters like John Prine, Lukas Nelson, Cidny Bullens and Nanci Griffith.  They also work in some of Kathy Kitzmann’s original songs to sweeten the mix.

Mark Kesson Music is a blend of acoustic infused easy listening, soft rock and country style music with a singer / songwriter kind of vibe.  Original music with a familiar feel. This special evening includes a preview of songs featured on Mark’s upcoming CD/Album – Ordinary Days, Extraordinary Times; It’s just Life… scheduled to be released later this summer.  Mark will be joined by lead vocalist Bonnie May and backing musicians Paul Rogers (percussion), John Burhop (bass), and Wayne Cornett (electric guitar).
