Al Jacquez recalls singing in the balcony with the church choir.  School plays, talent shows and rock ‘n’ roll bands soon followed.  He acted with Junior Light Opera in Ann Arbor, sang and played guitar at fraternity parties and teen clubs, and attended theater classes at the U of M.  Then. . . Savage Grace and the beginning of a very “interesting” journey.

Best known for his emotive guitar riffs with Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Drew Abbott played lead guitar on seven albums, including Live Bullet. In 1981, he won a Grammy Award for his work on Against the Wind.

Currently, Drew can be heard live with Abbott, Jacquez, and Zodiac, as well as the Drew Abbott Trio.
