Abbott, Jacquez and Zodiac – CANCELLED

March 13, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

$18

Three Detroit music veterans, Drew Abbott, Al Jacquez, and Lamont Zodiac, have joined forces to focus on performing their original music. While all three are prolific writers, they’re known primarily as performers. This band spotlights their songwriting and performing abilities. Abbot, Jacquez & Zodiac are more than ready to rock your club or event.

One of Detroit’s premier rock guitarists, Drew Abbot is known primarily for his long tenures with Third Power and Bob Seger, but hes also wielded his ax with Mitch Ryder and 8th Day, among others. With a Grammy and gold records under his belt, Drew’s upcoming solo album, Silver, highlights all of his talents including ace songwriting and soulful vocals.
With jaw-dropping pipes and technique,

Al Jacquez has been thrilling audiences for decades. He’s lent his talents to such seminal acts as Savage Grace, the Suspects, Guardian Angel, and Dick Wagner. He’s also sung light opera, musical theater, and gospel, and plays a mean guitar as well. His songs are personal and heartfelt. They also rock.

Soul is the word most commonly associated with the vocals of Lamont Zodiac. The Rainy Days, Target, 8th Day, and the Buzztones are just a few of the bands hes fronted. He’s had his songs performed by Mitch Ryder, Was (Not Was), the Boneshakers, and Mark Farner. His song, Bow-Wow-Wow-Wow, was featured in the movie, Silence of the Heart.
